**Peony Seed Oil: Organically grown in China, this premium quality Peony oil is cold-pressed, and has not undergone any type of chemical refinement. This unrefined Peony oil is rare, and its nutrient profile impressive. Balanced in essential fatty acids, Peony oil is very hydrating and softening to the skin, and acts as a potent moisturizer to relieve dry and irritated skin conditions. With its high concentration of polyphenols and antioxidants, it helps to promote skin regeneration, and defend the skin against external aggressors. Sensitive skin types will find peony particularly relieving, as it calms and soothes inflammation and redness. Peony oil is said to lighten hyper pigmentation in skin, due to the natural tannins, which leaves the skin radiant and evenly toned.

**Hyaluronic Acid: Low Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid is a polysaccharide that occurs naturally in every tissue of the body, that decreases as we age. Topically, it may help to hydrate skin's intercellular reservoir, raising skin's moisture level, and smoothing down age lines.

**Niacinimide (Vitamin B3): Clinical studies have shown topical niacinamide to be effective in improving skin texture and the appearance of hyperpigmented spots, with improvement in red blotchiness, and the reduction of the severity of fine lines. It may also help repair the skin's barrier functions.

**Acetyl Glucosamine: Has been shown to reduce hyperpigmentation and increase the production of hyaluronic acid, a water binding polymer found in the skin, which results in improved hydration. It also has skin exfoliating properties similar to alpha and beta hydroxyl acids, without the irriation. 

**Squalane: Occurs naturally in the skin's lipid layers, it prevents transepidermal water loss (TEWL) while restoring the skin's suppleness and flexibility.
